Set on 16 private acres, the house is a mix of old bones and new furniture in a space with 11' ceilings, big open areas and glass doors. It’s perfect indoor/outdoor living - even in winter. Great for couples, friends, families and dogs. The perfect escape to reset, recharge or change vibe as you work from home. The space The stone exterior was built with stone found on the property by a local mason in 1995. Used as a working barn for 21 years, we converted it into a home in 2016. This barn has an open plan layout in the living areas and a unique loft-like feel in a country setting. There are three bedrooms upstairs, 2 x work/desk areas as well as a dining room table and bar to work from depending on what works best for you. There are 2 x living rooms - one upstairs with a TV and one downstairs that overlooks the fields and woods. We also have a full chef's kitchen - wolf stove, liebherr fridge etc - and the house is equipped with everything you need to have a great stay making the most of the amazing local farms. There's seating at the kitchen island, a full dining table and an outdoor dining table - and BBQ - as well. All the beds have casper pillows / parachute linens etc. The house is climate controlled in the winter via nest and has window units and fans in the bedrooms for the summer. Built into the hill, the downstairs keeps temperate year round and there's a wood stove should you want to use that in the winter. Oh - and either in best of news or worst of news, internet is high speed and has spent a decent amount of time with two adults on video calls and kids watching iPads... Outside the house the land is totally magical. You can see deer walk through the fields, see stars for miles, walk through trails, forage for berries, befriend frogs at the pond, run without seeing another person... you get the idea. It's incredibly quiet, open and beautiful. Guest access The whole house is yours. The house is set back from the road on a large field surrounded by farmland. Beyond the field, there are acres of woods with walking paths a pond. It's space for miles and it's all yours.
