Windermere is a quiet and remote community with a community pool, pickleball court and our own marina with a shaded lakeside park. Perfect for families or a couples getaway. Make yourself at home and enjoy both the fully stocked 2 bed 1 bath main cabin along with the 1 bed 1 bath guest cabin. Dog friendly! The space Take full advantage of all hill country has to offer… - Enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch of our restful cabin with peek-a-boo views of Lake Travis. - Enter through the front door with a unique code to an open concept design with A-Frame vaulted ceilings which connects the kitchen and living area, letting you prepare a meal while making memories with your friends and family. - The cabin is newly renovated and fully furnished with no detail left behind. The skylight in the living area gives the home a light and airy feel while the homey vintage details throughout will make you feel right at home. - The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, including everything from pots pans and dishes to our favorite spices so you can cook up whatever comfort food your hearts and belly desires. - Throughout the rest of the home and detached living area, you’ll notice lots of local art and decorative pieces picked up over the years from Daniela’s favorite vintage fairs. - In addition to the detached bedroom and bathroom, you’ll also have an additional living room stocked with games,, a sofa bed and washer and dryer. Giving you enough room for two families of four to enjoy a relaxing weekend together. - Between the main cabin and detached living area, you’ll find a breezeway that leads you out back for yet another opportunity to lounge and take in the calming sounds of nature. Fire up the grill, gather around the fire pit or jump in the hammock under the stars. Guest access - You will have access to the entire property (main cabin and guest cabin). This makes for the perfect place for two couples or a family vacation. The main cabin consists of two bedrooms and one full bath. The guest cabin has another bedroom and full bathroom, in addition to it's own living room. - You will also have access to three community pools, pickleball & tennis courts, covered communal built-in bbq grills and our own marina on the lake (pending water levels) - Briarcliff Marina is less than 20 minutes away and the perfect place to rent a boat or drop your own boat in on their ramp. Whether you are fishing, water skiing or cruising via pontoon, they've got it all. - If you’re feeling adventurous, make sure to check out the animals at Exotic Resort Zoo, rent an ATX at Hidden Falls Adventure Park or zipline through the canopy of old-growth cypress trees at Cypress Valley Canopy Tours. - We're also conveniently located so guests can get to Austin for live music or the Hill Country Galleria for shopping. Venture a little further West to experience the local vineyards. There's plenty to do and see or just take a load off and relax. - Pizzeria Sorellina is a community favorite. Pizza, wine, beer, music and a playground for the kiddos! Kick back and relax with friends, family and full bellies. - Mule Shoe Bend Recreation Park is HUGE and close by and a great place for hiking along Lake Travis, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, and picnics. Bluebonnet season March to May is a real sight to see! Visit local popular attractions including breathtaking Krause Springs (as tropical as Texas gets). - Spicewood Airport is located in the neighborhood so you can literally fly in or just enjoy watching the planes fly the clear skies above. You’ll be able to see a variety of planes including historic war planes, aerobatic planes, and small jets. Other things to note After booking and before you arrive, you'll receive both a unique gate and door code. Keys to all the community amenities and guest cabin can be found in the cabin, on the key hook when you enter. Lake update: our marina is currently closed due to low water levels, message for alternatives!
