May God bless your journey, and may it lead you here. Guest access You will have complete access to the two-bedroom, 5-bed home, with the exception of a locked supply closet for housekeeping. Parking in the driveway area in front of the house and across the private drive in our additional empty, large lot is provided. Outdoor-covered pavilion/gazebo/grill kitchen with fireplace, behind the home, 2 kayaks, life jackets, the lake behind the home, and the fenced-in yard are all for guests' use. We have recently completed a 2 bedroom and 1 bath beautiful bunkhouse on the adjoining lot to the right, Cabin on the Cove, which is also offered for small groups to enjoy both our spaces as of the end of May 2023! Other things to note We offer a pet-friendly space, but require that pets be house-trained and not get into our beds or bedding. Their humans must be responsible for cleaning up daily after them both in the yard and at the lake areas. We want to keep these areas free from pet poo for others that want to enjoy the areas too. Pets must be on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives (seasonally, there are mosquitos at the lake!). Up-to-date vaccinations are required and vet proof must be sent to the host, prior to arrival. All pets must be listed as well as, all guests, on the reservation. There is a $85 pet fee for each pet. Pets must be preapproved with vet records submitted prior to arrival. This is a lake house and there are insects in the area which come naturally with the lake environment. GREAT NEWS! July 2025: we have added a misting system that mists for 15 seconds at 2am and 4am outside to prevent spiders, webs, gnats, white flies and mosquitos near the home, pavilion and hot tub! It is non toxic to humans and pets However, please be prepared with bug spray and sunscreen for the lake area. Keep doors to the home closed as much as possible to keep flies and other bugs outside. Open doors can also cause the AC to freeze up and the heat not to work well.
