Vacation apartment with amazing views & tranquility

On a sun terrace high above everyday life lies the car-free Braunwald (1300 meters above sea level). In summer, nature lovers enjoy the varied hiking experiences. In winter, it turns into a snow paradise. The apartment "im Strick" is located in the beautiful Braunwald village district of Schwettiberg (approx. 1400 m above sea level), 25 minutes from the Braunwaldbahn. The bright 3 1/2-room apartment is located on the 2nd floor with balcony facing south/south-west and offers a beautiful view of the Glarus panorama. The space The 3 1⁄2-room apartment is the rearmost/top apartment. It is located on the 1st floor with balcony facing south/south-west, spacious living room: dining table with max. 6 seats, Swedish stove, electric stove (can be switched on additionally upon arrival) board games. 
Kitchen: dishwasher, freezer, oven, coffee maker, fondue set and raclette oven.
 Bedroom 1: double bed (140 cm) below, double bed (120 cm) above, 
bedroom: 2 single beds put together to form a double bed. Linens and duvet/pillows as well as terry towels for 6 people are provided. Small bathroom with bathtub/shower, single toilet. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony. It is a non-smoking apartment. Guest access General rooms and front door: Shoes can be placed on the draining mats in the stairwell. At the bottom entrance there is a room for the general public. Books and games can be borrowed there. If you go through the heating, you come into a room with a ping pong table, which can be used. The front door must be locked in the evening. The vacuum cleaner is in the storage room next to the stairs at the main entrance door. Other things to note Optional (must be ordered at/after conclusion of contract): Bed linen and towels CHF 15.00/person/stay Not included in the daily rate, but mandatory: Glarner guest tax around CHF 4.40/person/night; children CHF 2.20/child (6-15 years)/night. - To register, we need your email address to send you the self check-in link for the guest tax and the GlarnerPASS. - Use this link to log in and receive the GlarnerPASS by email. This allows you to travel by public transport throughout the canton of Glarus. - After your vacation, you will receive the invoice for the guest tax from us. The canton of Glarus then collects the amount from us. Shopping opportunities: Grocery stores: The village shop in the center of Braunwald and the Schwettibergladen near the apartment. The village shop is open every day in the peak season (except Sunday). The official waste fee bags are available in both stores. There is also a post office, a kiosk, a bread shop, a sports shop, etc. and an ATM.
