Cozy farmhouse in the Alto Maestrazgo

La Llar del Maestrat is a small farmhouse located at the foot of the Sierra Esparraguera. This gives us incredible mountain views. In turn, we are located in the center of the Alto Maestrazgo region, province of Castellón, where you can visit emblematic villages, do various hiking routes and savor a great variety of local products. It is an ideal place to enjoy the tranquility of the mountain, connect with nature and feel at peace. The space The farmhouse can accommodate a maximum of 3 people. It is an old stone building, so its large walls maintain the temperature excellently. In winter, the house is mainly heated with a wood-burning stove (1/11 to 30/4) and the rooms with radiators, and in summer, it is cooled with fans. The house has 80 m2, which are distributed over the ground floor and first floor. Downstairs is the living/dining room, the kitchen and a bedroom. And upstairs, the bathroom and the main bedroom, with the large bed (200x200). We also have Wi-Fi. Outside there is a terrace with a table and chairs and a barbecue area with a paella grill. We also have a 3-metre above-ground pool, available during the summer months (15/6 to 15/9) Guest access A 6-minute walk away you will find the town's municipal swimming pool and about 15 minutes by car, supermarkets and local cheese and sausage shops. Check out our county guidebook for more details. As for the common areas, we only share the car parking area and the driveway to the houses, the rest is delimited and is for your private use. Other things to note We are Belén and Jaime, and we also have two cats and a dog with us. We are located in a casita that is opposite the farmhouse, about 25 meters away, so of needing anything, we can easily accommodate you.
