The room of Nature is on the 1rst floor of the 230 year-old Tower which has a picturesque and panoramic view of the valley. The green surrounding will emerge and offer you some moments of peace and relaxation. Among others you will be mesmerized by the subtle sound of the creek. The room is adapted for the romantic accommodation of couples. We also offer traditional cooking, tours, hiking, and other activities which you will find below. The space The whole Kulla Hupi is a memory that revives the past and preserves the Albanian traditions. In addition to accommodation we offer: 1. Horseback riding 2. Hiking to the Observation Tower of Skanderbeg. 3. Traditional cooking courses with my mother Sofia. 4. Walk through the village among fruit trees, waterfall, old church, etc. 5. Guide to the city of Bulqiza and to the memorial of the Battlefield of Skanderbeg. (The tours are offered for an additional fee. Let me know if you are interested) The traditional dishes we offer are: 1. Traditional lunch with organic products starting from 10 euros per person 2. Traditional dinner with organic products starting from 10 euros per person In addition to the Honey Room you will be amazed by the attached Beam Room which is another area positioned on the third and top floor, where you can enjoy cross-legged - as per the tradition - a coffee, thana Juice, tea or traditional brandy. The cozy chat under a good company will give you the impression as if you were in a time machine which has transferred you to the medieval era. The room is full of typical details of a traditional Dibra Tower-house, where you can find the stone sink, the wood oven, the traditional costumes of the county, the stone walls, the butter churn...etc. The room is characterized by the cathedral ceiling and among other details, you will notice how the modern lightning intertwines with the 230 years old masonry walls. My family and I are always happy to welcome you and to share with you the history of the country and the tradition of Dibra. Kulla Hupi is more than just an accommodation, Kulla Hupi is a rare experience that introduces you to the Albanian tradition and that promotes the sustainable development of the local community of Bulqiza. Guest access During your stay in Hupi Tower you will have the opportunity to relax, eat healthy but also be active. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the typical Bulqiza’s and Dibra’s cuisine sourced with organic products of our garden. Moreover we offer activities such as: 1. Horseback riding 2. Traditional dinner with organic products starting from 10 euros per person Kulla Hupi also supports the orphans of Bulqiza and therefore we have placed a "Charity Box" at the kulla, where you can contribute as much as you wish. Unfortunately Bulqiza has many orphans because many fathers have died working in Bulqiza’s mines. Therefore, tourism is a way to help the economy of Bulqiza, to get the families out of suffering and improve their living conditions. In support of this goal, we give the opportunity to the women of the village to be employed at Kulla Hupi and to earn a decent income. Also, every product or food offered at Kulla Hupi is bought by the farms and local residents of Bulqiza. This way we support the local economy but also guarantee maximum quality in terms of the taste and freshness of the food.
