The two-story townhouse in the Highlands Plantation subdivision is perfect for a large family, group of friends, or two families who want to spend time together in a shared space rather than paying for multiple hotel rooms. The townhouse is comprised of one side of a two-unit duplex and is conveniently located in the Highlands Plantation subdivision right off Hwy 82 on the east side of MSU. The lake is located behind the townhouse and wraps around the side with an open lot across the street. The townhouse is located 2.8 miles to the MSU campus and 4 miles to downtown Starkville. Whether you are in town visiting family, touring campus, or attending a sports event, our townhouse will give you room to relax and enjoy your time in Starkville! *PLEASE NOTE* - You must climb a flight of STAIRS to access the bedrooms - There is one exterior camera monitoring sound & video of the front entrance/driveway for the safety and security of the owner and guests - There is space for 2 cars to park in the driveway. Please be respectful of driveway parking as we share our driveway with our neighbors on the other side of the duplex. (Please note: garage is available for use, but is only for storage and does not fit a full size vehicle) - Guests have access to our own deck space, but we share a wooden fence divider with the adjacent unit. Please be respectful of our neighbors. -Fishing is allowed on the lake, so bring your fishing pole! Please don’t be surprised if you see some our neighbors out fishing around the banks of the lake! - There are ducks on the lake. Please do not feed them. - No swimming or motorized watercraft is allowed on the lake. Includes ceiling fan and plenty of closet space. - Full size washer and dryer is available in upstairs hallway closet - There is a Pack N Play located in an upstairs closet for your use You have full access to the townhouse, garage, and back deck. Guests will be given a code to access the property with the key-less entry lock. Host will be available via text or phone call if needed. The Highlands Plantation neighborhood is conveniently located 5 minutes from the MSU campus. There are many college students who live in this neighborhood, so the area may be lively and noisy on nights and weekends (especially game weekends). Starkville is a small college town and is fairly easy to get around by car. If you are visiting the Mississippi State campus, it's located about a 5 minute drive from the townhouse. All University sports arenas and stadiums are located on campus. Campus is very walkable! I also recommend utilizing the rideshare apps, Uber & Lyft. Both will pickup/dropoff at the townhouse. Check in is at 3:00 PM and check out is by 11:00 AM. If early check in or late check out is preferable, please contact host and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
