Sunny Bedroom in Briar Hill 35 min to Melb airport

Welcome to our guest room in our family home. There is a comfortable double bed, side table, chair, bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, and a shared modern bathroom. The space is ideal for the business traveler, short stay tourist, or couple visiting family. Walking distance to bus stops and train stations (45 min by train to Melbourne on the Hurstbridge line), 15 min drive to RMIT Bundoora or la Trobe University. The space A bright and neat bedroom with space for luggage, a wardrobe, small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and a small desk with a chair for work or study. There are floorboards throughout, and we have central heating and evaporative cooling. The room is at the front of the house and is next to another bedroom. Guest access Bedroom with wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities, and a bar fridge with inset freezer. The bathroom is shared with one other family member, but lockable and private. We would appreciate that towels and washcloths remain in your room after use for hygiene reasons. The toilet is separate to the bathroom. There is plenty of storage space within the room in the large wardrobe. Laundry facilities are available for longer stays. Kitchen available but shared with host. Pool is solar heated in the summer months, but still available during the colder months for those who enjoy extreme swimming! Al fresco breakfast available, as weather permits. The backyard is well maintained and perfect for relaxing. During your stay We welcome you on arrival and are always available if needed. Once you have checked in, I do not enter the room, so for towels and sheet changes, I will offer these regularly. Other things to note We are a quiet family, and some of us work from home. This is our family home, and you may meet other family members from time to time. RECYCLING is very important to us, so there are separate receptacles for bottles and cans, and food leftovers are composted. Please ask if you are unsure about which items are recyclable in our area as council regulations vary. We are happy to share living spaces, and these should be left clean and tidy for others to use. Bedrooms are strictly private. Our house has a gas fireplace and a pool and is therefore not suitable for small children. There is no smoking or vaping on the premises, inside or out.
