The home is also just a 5-minute walk to the Downtown Mall, the historic heart of Charlottesville, a pedestrian avenue lined with shops, restaurants, theaters, and museums. In the other direction, it's just a 3-minute walk to downtown Belmont, home to some of the best restaurants in town. The space Built in 1930, this cozy cottage has plenty of updated historic charm. There are 2 queen bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms downstairs. Upstairs is an open loft with 2 more twin beds, plenty of storage, and a sunny space to work from home. The home is pet-friendly with a fenced front yard. Enjoy free street parking, laundry in the house, a well-equipped kitchen, cozy dining room, and a comfortable living room with a TV. In Spring 2025 we replaced the fridge and stove. We also recently installed 5 wall mini-splits, so each room can be perfectly temperature-controlled with modern, quiet technology. Guest access The whole house is yours! A quiet renter lives in the separate basement apartment underneath the house. Other things to note Pets are most welcome. We charge a one-time $95 pet fee. Please ask us about an early check in if needed; we can often accommodate this. We do charge a $50 early check in fee.
