The perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort nestled in the basement of our beautifully updated turn-of-the-century farmhouse. The suite is a private and serene retreat with separate entry. Enjoy a king-sized bed, plenty of space, a futon, and its own en-suite 3-piece bathroom. Step outside to your own private patio, a charming and cozy space where you can soak in the beautiful scenery, sip morning coffee, enjoy an evening drink, or simply relax and take in the tranquil surroundings. The space Check in happens after 3PM- but we welcome you to come early and spend the day exploring the 200-acre farm, walk the trails, or play a round of disc golf. We do ask if you’re checking in past 4PM to let us know ahead of time! The on-site Screaming Goat Café is closed for the season, but we’d love to suggest some excellent restaurants in town, or you’re welcome to bring your own dinner. Take an evening stroll to stargaze, witness the sun setting over the horse paddock, and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature before heading in for the night. Our Livestock Guardian Dogs keep the farm safe from coyotes howling off in the distance. We invite you to meet us for our 8AM barn chores! Don’t worry just the fun ones! Help us feed all of our animals, learn a bit about their routines, and enjoy a true behind the scenes look at the farm. On days cafe is closed a breakfast bento box option will be provided. Days that the cafe is open breakfast can be ordered in the cafe. · Animal experiences run Wednesday-Sunday · WIFI is available in and around the Screaming Goat Café which is 100 yards away. · All bedding, and small towels are included. · Suite can sleep up to 4 guests · No dogs sorry! We have working dogs on the property. · Downtown Port Hope is just a 15-minute drive away. · We have an outdoor fire pit 200 yards away, please call ahead if you’d like to use this so we can have wood available for purchase, or bring your own.
