Other things to note ■ Check-out Time and Extension Our standard check-out time is 12:00 PM. If you wish to request a late check-out, please make a reservation by the day before your departure. (Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on availability on the day.) Late check-out fee: ¥5,500 (tax included) per hour Maximum extension: Until 3:00 PM After 3:00 PM, an additional one-night charge will apply. ■ Introduction of Accommodation Tax in Atami City From April 1, 2024, Atami City has implemented an accommodation tax. Accordingly, guests will be asked to pay the following tax in addition to the room charge. Details of the Accommodation Tax Start date: From stays on or after April 1, 2024 Amount: ¥200 per person per night (flat rate, regardless of room rate) Payment: To be paid on-site at check-in or check-out Exemptions The following guests are not subject to the accommodation tax: Children of elementary school age or younger Guests participating in school events involving overnight stays, such as school trips The accommodation tax will be used to support tourism promotion and public services in Atami City.
