Seclusion, Seclusion, Seclusion!!! Welcome to The Deer Drop Inn where you are in the middle of nowhere, but in the middle of everything! Our 1800 sq foot cabin sits back in the woods on five private acres with no other cabins in sight. It is very private. The only neighbors around have fur or feathers. Our home is 2.6 miles from downtown Hulbert. There are many attractions that are within an hour of the cabin such as Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Newberry, Oswalds Bear Ranch and the Soo. We have made many improvements to the home. There is new flooring throughout the home along with all new appliances and living room furniture. The couch also pulls out into a bed. There will be plenty of seating for everyone as there are three tables with chairs. There is Dish TV in the living room and the master bedroom. There are playing cards, card games and board games available to play if the weather is not cooperating. There is an expanding file and magazine rack that is full of brochures of area attractions, information and maps. Phone service is sketchy at best in the house. If you go back down the driveway toward the road you can usually pick up signal. Sorry no internet. Plenty of space for parking for snowmobile trailers. We can be contacted by phone, text or email. We will answer you as soon as possible. Hulbert is a tiny little town just off of M28. Eat breakfast at the Tahquamenon Hotel from 8-11:30. Best breakfast in town. Later on stop by the Hulbert Happy Hour for lunch and/or dinner and drinks. Hulbert is a major hub in the trail system for snowmobiles, ATV's, UTV's and motorcycles. You can go anywhere you want in the U.P. via the trail system from Hulbert. New whole home stand-by generator added in 2021. Have no fear of losing power at the house.
