Maypall Cottage is a stylish, characterful cottage tucked away in the pretty village of St Tudy. Very close to some of North Cornwall's best beaches including Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath. A perfect place to stay to enjoy a day on the beach, walks on Bodmin Moor and the Camel Trail or to visit the nearby towns of Padstow, Port Isaac or Wadebridge with their award winning restaurants from Chefs including Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth and Nathan Outlaw. The space Stylishly decorated and recently featured in Country Homes and Interiors and 25 Beautiful Homes magazines, Maypall Cottage is a cosy and traditional stone built cottage that has been decorated with a contemporary feel whilst maintaining many original features including slate floors, granite fireplace with wood burner and exposed beams in several rooms. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with dining table and chairs seating 4 people comfortably, with concrete worktops and reclaimed wood cupboards providing a light airy space. (With Nespresso coffee machine, Dualit kettle and toaster, Smeg fridge and Esse electric aga). From the kitchen there is a small hallway with coat and shoe storage leading into the downstairs shower room with toilet and washing machine. The lounge is a cosy space with lower ceilings and exposed beams and a wonderful granite fire place with wood burner, HD TV with Amazon firestick. There is slate flooring with underfloor heating throughout the ground floor. Whilst upstairs there is two bedrooms (one king size bed and one with bunk beds) and a separate bathroom with bath and walk in shower. French doors off the kitchen lead to the outdoor patio space with garden table and chairs, BBQ and large flowered planters. There is also a cobbled driveway along the front of the house for off street parking. (You can also park outside the gates on the road if easier). A complimentary welcome pack is left for guests on arrival including tea, coffee, milk, jam and scones to help you settle in when you arrive. We welcome well behaved dogs who get their own dog bed, bowls and treats for their stay. Charged at 25 pounds per dog per stay. Please note check in time is 4pm and checkout 10am. If you would like to arrive earlier or request a later check out please let me know and we will try to accommodate where possible.
