A beautiful and unique 1893 converted chapel

Come and stay in our relaxing, spacious and comfortable family retreat, which is part of converted 1893 Chapel. An idyllic place to stay with plenty of character and charm. It lies in a friendly village in the heart of Somerset surrounded by the picturesque and tranquil landscape of the Mendip Hills. Ideal for scenic walks and cycle rides, whilst only a short drive away from Bath, Frome and Wells, Longleat Safari Park, Cheddar and Glastonbury Tor. A perfect escape from busy lives. The space Holcombe chapel is part of a substantial former Methodist Chapel. It has been modernised throughout whilst still keeping some of its original features. Its 11ft ceilings on the ground floor give it a light and airy feel and is in excellent decorative form. It homes the original porch entrance leading into the hallway which includes new double glazed gothic style windows. There is a fully fitted kitchen / dinning room with a downstairs W/C and a large reception room with comfy sofa's, tv library and a contemporary style fire. The first floor compromises of four bedrooms. Firstly the master bedroom with TV and a new ensuite shower room. Two good sized double bedrooms and a smaller bedroom with a large modern adult/child bunk beds. All the bedrooms comprise of comfy beds with soft cushions and fluffy towels and are carpeted all except the small bedroom. There is also a family sized bathroom which includes the original stunning stained glass rose window. The chapel is gas central heated and double glazed. The garden is south facing and wraps around the sides of the chapel. The majority of the garden is laid to lawn with a patio area to one side . The garden is enclosed with wrought iron railings, stoned walling and panelled fencing. There is a garage with a parking space and a further reserved parking space. Guest access Guests will be able to access the home throughout plus the garden and car parking area.
