You'll also find a hanging closet, an antique wooden dresser, and additional shelves for all your storage needs. There is a main front door and a rear entrance into the bedroom. **Loft Bedroom** Ascend to the loft bedroom and be greeted by stunning views of the sky and the Otaheiti Apple tree. This room offers a comfortable twin bed, a work desk, and a pine wood clothes closet. The day bed in the loft is the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of tea or coffee while enjoying the sunset. **Living Area** The inviting living area features a comfortable couch, a coffee table, and a 4K smart TV mounted on the wall. IMPORTANT NOTE ON COMFORT: To keep the nightly cost as affordable as possible (given Jamaica's high electricity rates), the air conditioning unit is located in the downstairs bedroom. The loft and living room are equipped with ceiling and standing fans to ensure your comfort. Every window in the unit (except one), has insect mesh. The front door does not have mosquito mesh. Guest access While it is that you are on a shared property with the hosts, the Cottage is a self contained unit. You enter through the gate and have your own parking spot and walk through to the back of the property. There are mango trees, and apple tree, coconut trees and ackee trees which you can pick from for personal eating. Other things to note This is a recently renovated space, and has a few rough edges but nothing to hinder your day to day, more like minor scuffs to the area. There are three small dents in the bedroom laminate flooring where a couple of planks were repaired — the replacement pieces don't perfectly match the original color, so you may notice a slight shade difference and a bit of visible glue nearby. There's also a small crack in the barn door where the wood naturally dried and split over time (cosmetic, doesn't affect how it opens or closes). The bathroom window blinds are missing their pull rod — they still open and close fine, just by hand (push up, pull down) instead of with the rod. None of these affect the comfort or function of your stay; we just believe in telling you before you arrive, not after. IMPORTANT NOTE ON AIR CONDITIONER: To keep the nightly cost as affordable as possible (given Jamaica's high electricity rates), the air conditioning unit is located in the downstairs bedroom. The loft and living room are equipped with ceiling and standing fans to ensure your comfort. Bear this in mind if you are a person who needs A/C and doesn't like to keep windows opened. MOSQUITOS AND CRITTERS: Every window in the unit except one, has insect mesh covering them that allows you to open and keep open without insects or lizards entering. The front door does not have mosquito mesh.
