Hiking, Zipline, Restaurants and Antique Shops. We are located between Dillard, Ga and Highlands, NC. The Sparrow's Rest has been completely updated with hardwood floors, granite and tile in baths, good beds and bedding. The porch has outside tables and chairs, great for eating or taking in the view. Fire pit is available for guests to use. All bedrooms and Keeping Room are off porch area with wonderful views. The kitchen area has a full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, dishes, silverware. It does not have a stove and not set up for those who plan to do a lot of cooking. Guests have access to pool, tennis and health club for no extra charge. Sky Valley Country Club is open to the public for golf and if you play golf you may enjoy use of the club dining room. Available to help with area information. Wonderful shopping in nearby Highlands, NC, Clayton, Dillard, Georgia and Franklin NC. Sky Valley hosts their own 4th of July with fireworks, parade, cookout right inside the community. Fall offers Fall Festival with food, local arts and crafts exhibit, antique car show again all inside the valley. You do need a car to tour the area, but from this rental you can reach all the amenities in Sky Valley by walking. Sky Valley is 5 minutes from Highlands Aerial Park which is a wonderful Zipline. Also 10 minutes from Highlands Outpost which has Snow Tubing, Ice Skating and just opened Mountain Coaster. Check their websites for more information.
