Rare 19th century manor house, pool, large park, wifi
Description
Nestled in a green setting of two hectares, the house was built by our ancestors in 1818. Since then, the property has always remained in our family and we pass it on from generation to generation. Since 2014, we have undertaken its restoration, taking care to preserve its most beautiful assets. The Heritage Foundation has granted us its label. The estate is a haven of peace and greenery. House for 10 people (including babies and children). The space The interior decoration combines the refinement of French mansions (ceiling moldings, two-tone terracotta tiles, Hungarian parquet flooring, cement tiles, majestic wrought iron staircase railing and large volumes) with the original furniture of the house that we had restored by the best local craftsmen (cabinetmaker, blacksmith, framer, upholsterer, etc.). The pool, spacious and deep, is undoubtedly one of the most pleasant elements of the estate with its view of the park with bicentennial trees and birdsong. It is equipped with a roller shutter for the safety of your children. The pool is open from early June to late September. Its park, created shortly after the house, is an invitation to travel thanks to its different atmospheres and rare species. Parasol pines, Japanese Sophora (sophorica japonica), cypresses, cedars, oaks, bamboos, ash trees, fig trees... and flowers of all kinds give it all its radiance and make it a rare and privileged haven of peace. In the center of the park, the Virgin, with its 19th century Italian rockery, gives the place a space for contemplation. The estate is full of corners to meet together or isolate yourself from the rest of the house. In the evening, while the lanterns light up the Loubatous, it's nice to meet under the plane tree for a drink.
