MALIBU AIRSTREAM TRAILER MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE

Formerly Vintage Airstream Adventure, in 2018 we lost the irreplaceable vintage trailers to a massive wildfire. We now offer a deluxe, well appointed 2016 25’ AIRSTREAM with sweeping mountain and ocean viewscapes for your enjoyment. Come experience amazing sunrises, sunsets and magical galaxies! The space Perched on a private ridge with a magnificent 360 degree vista of the Pacific Ocean, Catalina, Santa Barbara Island and the Santa Monica Mountains, spend the evening watching the sunset (a 5 min. walk to the mountaintop) over Boney Mountain as it fades to black. The stars come out by the millions- and you watch for comets and satellites passing overhead from the comfy chaise lounges. You retire to the comfortable 25' of ‘luxe design, turn on the sound system throughout while opening a chilled bottle of wine you acquired on a local vineyard tour. You set the dinette, or the outdoor table, for a romantic dinner which you prepare in the onboard galley and gas stove. After another gaze at the Milky Way, you retire to the Queen size rear bed with quality linens, panoramic views and feather duvet- the fresh Pacific breeze lulling you to sleep in the silence broken only by the occasional owl 'hoot' or coyote howl in the distance. You awake early (or not..) to experience the sunrise with our French coffee press and another day in a paradise you can't imagine is so close, yet so far from Los Angeles. The area also offers vineyard tours, wine tasting rooms, excellent restaurants, hiking/ biking the Backbone Trail, all within minutes. Pool (seasonally) and internet hot spot available to guests. WE ARE PET FRIENDLY. We charge an additional flat $25 cleaning fee per reservation (payable in cash during your stay for pets.) Due to the nature of the unpaved access road to the site some vehicles- particularly FRONT WHEEL DRIVE autos may require Host to transport guests, which we gladly offer to accommodate! ****Please note that if you have stayed with us previously the current site is different from the original hilltop.
