Welcome to a classy and peaceful 41m² 2-room home in the heart of the vibrant Kallio. Windows open up to a quiet inner court adding up to an overall peaceful atmosphere. A luxurious bed also contributes to great sleep. The building and the apartment have been renovated during recent years and include all basic modern-day amenities, but still with a nice dose of 1920s charm left too. Superb connections: f.e. both metro and airport bus stops are just around the corner and just 5 min to the center. The space Perfect place for anyone appreciating a sweet homely feeling in a quiet and safe apartment with class and soul. Everything is at your fingertips: you are less than 200 meters away from superb transportation connections including a metro station, and a number of bus and tram stops connecting you to the center (5min), Messukeskus (10min), and airport (25min). Basically, you are easily connected to the whole capital area and even most of Finland - even the central railway station is just 5 min metro trip away. Next to the transportation stops, you can find good 24/7 grocery stores as well. Everything is surrounded by the liveliest district in Finland in a more bohemian area in Helsinki. The apartment is 41 square meters with 2 rooms (bedroom and living room) + kitchen, hallway, and a bathroom, so it works great for 1-3 people, maybe even for 4 depending on your personal taste. The bedroom includes one luxurious 120 cm wide bed for 1-2 persons - I dare to say not even many hotels provide this good bed. Also one 80 cm wide single extra bed is available, but assembled and prepared only by request. Livingroom's sofa is also very comfortable after it was upgraded in early 2022 and it's not hard to fall asleep on it either - tested successfully with people up to 177cm. The atmosphere is peaceful. The apartment is located about 200 meters up the hill from the closest bars so you will not be bothered about any of those sounds. Also, windows open to a quiet inner courtyard adding up to the peaceful experience so you will hardly hear any sounds from the streets at all. There are currently no noisy renovations going on in the neighborhood either. Both rooms include 2 sets of curtains. In the bedroom, both curtains are sun-blocking. In the living room, only the inner curtain is sun-blocking. Thanks to peace and quiet, the place is also perfect for anyone needing to get some job done. Super-reliable wifi, pro-level work chair, and motorized work desk will give you a competitive edge on your work. By default, wifi works at 20MB speed but if you need more just let me know before your arrival and I can top it up at least up to 100MB - even higher speeds are negotiable. Safety is guaranteed with an intelligent lock system and in order to reach the apartment, you have to unlock 3 doors. The apartment is located also in one of the higher levels in the building. There are also surveillance cameras around the building - but none hidden inside the apartment! The kitchen has all the basic equipment. Varying amounts of food ingredients may be found too but please check the dates before using and let me know if the porridge runs out!:) A 61-inch plasma monitor guarantees a great movie experience. Chromecast and wifi make it easy to connect. Please note that the big screen has been moved to the bedroom since taking the cover photo (the rest of the photos are practically up-to-date). In addition to Chromecast, it is also possible to watch any cable channels as Digibox is also connected to the big plasma TV. The bedroom includes also one very comfy TV seat with a mechanism. The place is definitely a haven for any music fan too. Outside the apartment, already within 100 meters radius, there are like half a dozen record stores or vintage stores with record sections. There's also a decent collection of music inside the apartment. Guest access The whole apartment is for you and only for you during your stay.
