Smiddy Cottage is our renovated semi-detached farm cottage that sleeps 4 complete with an efficient biomass heating system and super fast broadband. Plenty of scenic walks on the farm, cattle and sheep grazing nearby plus an abundance of wildlife makes this the perfect spot for total relaxation! Nearby is the award winning Coldingham Bay and St. Abb’s Head and the beautiful city of Edinburgh, an hour’s drive, famous for its castle and festivals. The space First floor: 1 king size bedroom with walk in wardrobe 1 twin bedroom Spacious bathroom. Ground floor: Lounge overlooking woodland garden and field, with wood burning stove, desk, shelved cupboard housing a selection of books and games and Samsung smart tv with screen mirroring. New kitchen with all integrated appliances, clothes pulley, farmhouse kitchen table and chairs and back door leading out to the patio and lawn. Two steps leading up to front door, and steepish stairs to first floor. Exterior: Large garden and woodland to the rear. Please see my Profile to view other cottages on the farm. Guest access Guests have access to the farm but we do ask that guests avoid the farm steading for health and safety reasons. Please avoid walking through fields with cows and calves. Other things to note Delicious homemade shortbread on arrival. Ample supply of logs and kindling for woodburner. There’s an outside 3 pin socket on the house wall for EVs, FOC and a wall charger at the farmhouse for speedier charging (Type 2) *25p/kWh*. Please leave cash in cottage on departure or BACS (details in information folder in cottage). Please advise if you need the travel cot and high chair.
