Relax in the Prairies first tiny house on wheels. This truly unexpected Oasis surrounding your accommodation is set on 13 Acres facing a large lake hugging the natural bushland. Tucked away from all major traffic for you to immerse yourselves with the surrounding wild/bird life. The Tiny house on the Prairie is a one-bedroom home at the base of our property away from the main house to give you pure privacy, peace and tranquillity. You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. The space The house contains a comfortable queen-size bed which you climb into each night with luxury linen and extra blankets provided for the colder nights. Compact kitchen with a nice size fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, Air fryer, cutlery and crockery. Supplies for breakfast for each day stay along with tea, Coffee and hot chocolate. Bathroom with spacious shower, plumbed toilet, vanity, hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner, body/hand soap, tissues and towels supplied. Reverse cycle split system air conditioning is provided to add to comfort for all seasons with a press of a button as the Adelaide Hills are always at least 4 degrees cooler than the city. There are 2 bucket sofas with a TV with Netflix connected, board games, stack of cards, books to read and WIFI. Dining available both inside and out to take in as much of the peace and tranquillity as you want. Guests have access to our entertaining room equipped with a 5 person spa with beach towels supplied, change room with toilet and vanity, table tennis, spacious dining area with woodfire, large TV, large bench with seating, double BBQ, sink and bar fridge. If you're feeling energetic there is also two kayaks or a dingy (for use during the Summer Months) which we can bring down to the lake for you to take a leisurely paddle. Lifejackets will also be provided. Fishing rods are available if you want to try your luck in catching your dinner with the abundance of redfin within the lake. You need to be patient though as most times the fish won’t bite unless the timing is right. Prepare a picnic and go for a walk on the other side of the lake and relax in the shade over looking the water. For a special occasion ask us about our SPECIAL PACKAGES when booking. Either for an anniversary, proposal or birthday. Guest access Guests have access to all the open area around the lake, the Tiny Home and the entertainment area. Our pet sheep Arna, Patch, horses Lilly and Mouse on the property move around in their own paddocks so for their safety and yours, gates must always be left shut, and access is denied so they can have their own space to continue grazing. During your stay Upon arrival our guests drive down the driveway past the main house and my husband and/or myself will greet our guest, show them around, how to work the WIFI, spa and BBQ and answer any questions they might have then we leave you alone to enjoy your surroundings. Other things to note Tiny House on the Prairie is minutes away Gorge Wildlife Park, Cudlee Creek Restaurant, Cudlee Creek Café and Union Bridge Brewery, It can be your base if mountain bike riding in the Fox Creek Trails for the weekend, along with trying the wonderful wineries through out the Adelaide Hills. Horse agistment -Cudlee Creek is surrounded by nearby forests, wanting a holiday with your horse and try out nearby forest tracks to ride. Mount Crawford forest is a great place to start. Contact Forestry SA for more information. Or down from the country to compete in the local horse shows but need accommodation and somewhere for your horse to stay. HORSE AGISTMENT PER NIGHT $10 (BRING YOUR OWN FODDER) Tiny House on the Prairie also hosts weddings so in the months between September to May the BNB is booked out for weddings only. We are in a rural area so we do get wildlife and like every wild animal people need to give them space to roam for your own safety and theirs.
