The space Through the staircase with its almost 100-year-old beautiful wooden staircase, you enter the very openly designed room combination of the ground floor. The living room invites you to a cosy TV evening with its large couch and 65-inch TV, the billiard room is well equipped with a 9-foot Brunswick pool table for an exciting 8-, 9- or 10-ball evening (shorter cues are available for the somewhat tighter lateral space) and the large heavy wooden table in the well-equipped kitchen offers all the prerequisites for good conversations together and unforgettable evenings with a delicious feast. From the kitchen you go directly onto the terrace and further into the garden. The perfect south-west orientation offers the best chance of sunshine from morning to evening and there are plenty of places to sit or lie down. With a bit of luck, you might even be visited by a squirrel or a green woodpecker. On the first floor you will find a freshly modernised bathroom with large shower and bathtub. The two bedrooms with queen-size double beds offer plenty of storage space in the wardrobe and the two chests of drawers. In the white bedroom, stylish 50s furniture allows you to work at your desk. At the same time, it offers enough storage space for laptop, work materials and documents. There is also plenty of reading material for quiet, secluded evenings. You have sole use of the house and the garden is at your undisturbed disposal. Your home is located in a pure residential area (30 km/h zone) with lots of greenery and a quiet neighbourhood. All neighbouring properties are inhabited by elderly people. Your temporary home is located in one of Aachen's most sought-after residential areas - Laurensberg. The city centre is just under 4 km away and is also easily accessible by public transport (the nearest bus stop is only a 4-minute walk away.) Also within walking distance in a maximum of 15 minutes are supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, doctors, banks/savings banks, opticians, hairdressers, post office, bakeries, etc. The University of Aachen and the University Hospital can be reached by bus without changing buses. The city district of Soers borders directly on Laurensberg, where the CHIO grounds and the Tivoli (both about 4 km drive away) are located. The nearest motorway junction is also just under 4 km away. (No, coincidence ! I have no soft spot for the 4th). The Pinkpop site is a good 10 km away in neighbouring Landgraaf. Please read and observe the house rules !
