This room has two beds with a shared bathroom with a traditional shower with hot water and an Indian toilet (squat toilet). It has a beautiful view over the orchard field and it’s placed in the traditional wakhi house, so it has access to a kitchen. The space Passu Snow Leopard Resort is a warm, family-run guesthouse nestled in the peaceful village of Janabad, in the Gojal region of Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Located along the scenic Shimshal Valley Road, our resort offers breathtaking views of the iconic Passu Cones and the surrounding Karakoram mountains. Our guesthouse is surrounded by a beautiful orchard filled with apple and apricot trees, and the scent of ripe fruit in the summer air adds to the serene atmosphere. We also keep a few animals—goats, sheep, and a cow—which bring a touch of traditional village life to your stay. We grow a variety of vegetables in our own garden beds, using organic methods and lots of care. These fresh veggies are lovingly prepared into delicious home-cooked meals by my wife, Hussan Jahan, and my mother, Farida, whose cooking brings the rich flavors of the region to your plate. Lovingly managed by the three of us, we welcome every guest as part of our extended family. Other things to note A traditional organic breakfast is included in the room price. As we are a family guesthouse, we are also happy to offer traditional Pakistani lunch and dinner upon request.
