Brilliantly located just 7 minutes walk from the train station, you are perfectly positioned to arrive in London, or Cambridge within 35 minutes. Brighton is a little further up the journey, and in the opposite direction it's even possible for you to travel to Edinburgh on the mainline. An open green park is pretty much on your doorstep here including a play park for children and access to the River Purwell and Hiz where you can pass the time watching the ducks and other wildlife. Hitchin town centre is a short walk offering all manner of unique shops, amenities, many restaurants and pubs catering to all pallets as well as takeaways galore for those cosy nights in. We are proud to offer this serviced accommodation providing a welcome goody hamper on arrival including milk and bread. As part of the booking, a weekly cleaner attends to whip around the property making your stay just that little more relaxing and convenient. We are really proud of this 'electronically smart' home and welcome guests who share a passion for modernity and leisure and we now are happy to say we have gone that extra step to try and be environmentally friendly following the installation of solar PV panels. The home is also sensitive to heat and smoke via the smart alarm systems and we have cameras at the entrance both front and back for yours and our security. The kitchen comes fully equipped including microwave, coffee machine, washing machine and fridge/freezer all for your use. You will also find all the typical utensils and equipment making the home ideal for those self-catering breaks ... sadly though, someone will need to volunteer the washing up needs, as we don't have a dishwasher! We have a smart TV in the living room providing Netflix , as well as Amazon Prime, Disney+ and NowTV. Live TV is also available. For your enjoyment, you can also connect your phone to our built-in speaker in the shower room and sing along to your favourite tunes while you shower (so that you can let out your inner Beyoncé while you enjoy the amazing rain shower!) Within the garden we have taken care to provide several exciting spaces for you to enjoy and relax - all maintained by our helpful gardener. The garden offers a few unique spaces to sit and enjoy as the day (and night) progresses - including a small terrace, sunken open pergola to sip wine amongst the grape vines and also a covered pergola for those rainy days. The garden can be enjoyed all day and evening round with the use of the additional blankets and pillows which we provide for your comfort. We do offer a hot tub for your private use (via pre-arrangements and booking and for an additional fee). We also have 2 fire pits available for use (upon request and additional charge) with a starter pack of logs so that you can enjoy evenings in the garden. We can accept small dogs (through conversation and prior arrangement only). ** We are always happy to accept messages to discuss longer-term bookings.
