Stunning Lodge minutes from the sea & golf course

A stunning Lodge only 20 minutes from Edinburgh by train. Full of colour and character set in large gardens overlooking the nearby golf course to the sea beyond. The beautiful garden with small orchard and large area of decking is ideal for enjoying a BBQ with family or friends on a summer's evening. 4 minutes walk to the beach and 1 minute to the golf course, (10% discount on green fees at local golf course for our guests). The space A semi-detached (duplex) home full of colour and character, beginning right at the front door. A pretty porch leads you into the hallway where you can find the very handy utility room with a washing machine, dryer and freezer and thereon into the bright and spacious open plan lounge diner and well appointed kitchen with a Nespresso machine and dishwasher. For those nights in you will find books and games and the large dining table is ideal for a family meal or intimate dinner. There is a workspace ideal for anyone staying for business and wifi and USB points are available. On warm summer days or evenings, the French windows leading onto the decking and garden can be opened and the garden then becomes an extension of the lounge. Fluffy blankets are provided for cosying up on cooler evenings. Upstairs there are two pretty bedrooms, both ensuite and flooded with light. One bedroom has amazing views over the golf course to the sea and offers a superking size bed or two singles, whichever you require. The other bedroom has two singles and offers views over the garden. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and separate bath, and the other has a shower over the bath. In each suite there are hairdryers, plenty of mirrors, gorgeous toiletries made locally in Stirlingshire and fluffy white towels. Outside, the garden is absolutely perfect for both families and friends. As well as a BBQ, there is plenty of seating and two large tables ideal for sitting around with a chilled glass of wine (or two!). You can enjoy your own section of the large garden, within the small lawned orchard, which is perfect for little ones to let off steam, perhaps hunting for golf balls which sometimes land in the garden. Occasionally, if you wish, you may also get a visit from the friendly spaniel next door. Outdoor games are also provided. Guest access Guests have full, and exclusive, access to the Lodge, their own area of the lodge garden and their own deck, as well as the outdoor seating area to the front of the Lodge. There is enough parking for four cars. Other things to note We will always endeavour to keep our friendly spaniel (who lives next door with us) from saying hello to you when you are enjoying the garden, unless you'd prefer otherwise. As the golf course is literally just over the garden hedge, we want to make guests aware that golf balls occasionally land in the garden. Registration details EL00282F
