A unique place that offers a lot of charm and warmth in the middle of the mountains and in the heart of Chapada dos Veadeiros. The house has a high ceiling and modern design, made of natural elements such as adobe walls, mastic pillars and large glass windows that form a portal to the lush landscape. Peace reigns, amidst the dozens of visiting birds and also residents (Japu), in addition to all the arts inside the house, combined for an immersive and invigorating experience. The space The property is located in the village of Moinho, a quilombola community immersed in a large area of preserved cerrado, on the banks of the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park. From the property you can observe the exuberant nature. From the balcony of Casa Canto Japu you can see the mountains of the Santo Antônio river valley, from where the sound of waterfalls comes, especially in the rainy season. From the upper part of the property, going up the Japecanga mountain range along a trail that leaves the house, we find the stone wall, a historical monument of the region, but also a great panoramic view of the entire Moinho and Pé de Serra region. The contemplation of nature has its peak on the nights with the full moon rising behind the mountains, but also the sunrises, both in front of the balcony of the house. Not to mention the starry nights of July or the rains of the end of the year that we saw coming from afar and leave rainbows after they pass. The house has a large yard, where there are bamboo groves that welcome the flocks of Japu, a skittish bird that marks its territory with a lot of noise and revelry when they arrive at the end of the day, but they rest next to the house and enjoy silence, as well as the neighbors and all the inhabitants of the Mill. In the backyard, the lawn calls for a daytime experience with lots of sunshine. Children can have fun in the large wooden playground. We also have a campfire area and firewood can be requested in advance. In the house, the spaces are visually separated but are integrated as in a loft, allowing an experience of warmth and interaction with the environment. The House accommodates up to 4 people with plenty of comfort, but can accommodate 6 people who are more intimate. We have a bedroom with a double bed, a mezzanine also with a double bed and a living room with a single sofa bed, where a spare double mattress can also be accommodated. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, spices, dishes, appliances, cutlery, among other items to accommodate different food alternatives. We have two bathrooms, one of which has a bathing area (with hot water) and a closet, and the other is a toilet. Great quality Wi-Fi, especially if you need to work while you're here. Guest access The house is located in the village of Moinho, 12 km from Alto Paraíso de Goiás, with access via a dirt road (GO 239). The road is undergoing periodic renovations, keeping it in good traffic conditions. In Povoado Moinho, the property can be accessed by a side road that is 100 meters away between the main avenue and the gate. Other things to note The accommodation offers both an immersive and relaxing experience and a great opportunity to venture out on the hiking or biking trails. The Moinho community offers great cultural richness, as well as a diversity of local products and services, including tour guides. In the community, we have Solarion Park, with the Anjos and Arcanjos waterfalls formed by the Pretinho River, the same river that offers other smaller waterfalls and pools, freely accessible to Moinho guests.
