Upstairs at Number eight are three rooms and bathroom for one to five people These rooms can be booked individually by a group, or one at a time, so you may be sharing the bathroom with other guests from another room. Guests have a private entrance and pets are welcome. This humble abode is simple comfort in a lovely village a quick hop to Newmarket races with pubs and shop. Please read all this listing before booking. There is a Microwave, Kettle and toaster for simple catering. Two double rooms and a single for parties of one to five people. Bring a device for viewing TV, free WIFI is provided. Each room is listed an can be booked individually. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms and there is a table and chairs outside for any smokers. I will add that I am a smoker but never smoke in the guest areas. Those who are hyper sensitive to this are advised that although no smoking is allowed in guest areas it is not an entirely smoke free house. Long life milk sachets are supplied , but if you prefer fresh milk please bring some and keep it in the fridge on the landing. I have applied a variable discount for weekly+ Bookings. Please read all about booking before booking. Guest access The entrance leads directly to the stairs to first floor , all of the first floor is for my guests. There are stairs to climb so unsuitable for accessability issues. There is a lock on the bathroom door for your confidence. I expect all guests to have a completed profile. This is to ensure safety and accountability is there for everyones peace of mind. Please read all listing before booking. During your stay I give my guests space but am available when needed The entire upstairs is given to guests and you may meet the other guests or you may be the only guest. I am available if needed but you have a separate entrance and need not interact with me if you prefer. I will gladly do a load of washing for you Other things to note Please ask me and I will do a load of laundry for you £5 per load. (no delicate fabrics please). Please note that I would not like to have third party bookings, That is when a person is booked by another person such as an employer or friend. I would like the person who booked the room to be the person who arrives. I would like the person who books to also have a profile image on their information and to resemble that image. I may be flexible on this if you contact me first. We are 4.7 miles to the July racecourse, or 12 minutes in a car on a clear day. Public Bus transport runs weekdays but not weekends.
