Custer has some very good restaurants. The Bakery and Susans Place has great Breakfast. The Bakery has a great Green Chille Buffalol Burger. Sage Creek Grille has fine dining but also a menu for children. It has the best food in the Hills. Black Hills Burger and Bun was rated number one in the nation by ABC. The Buglin Bull is a great sports bar with a fun atmosphere and casual dining. A great rooftop bar is super fun!Skogen Kitchen is the finest dining in South Dakota and was featured in People Magazine. Reservations are highly suggested. Sushi, oysters on the half shell, homemade ravioli, Wagu beef and suckling pig to name a few dishes. Breakfast on select days includes walleye, pancakes with all kinds of fixins and homemade sausage, avocado toast and THE BEST biscuits and gravy. Pizza Works has great, hand tossed pizza and beer and has great outdoor seating. Guest access hiking, biking, bird watching, wildlife, star gazing and relaxing. Wifi Fire Pit Door will be open the day of arrival. Other things to note Sometimes the pasture has our Jersey cows, Jello and Beezie, grazing. At other times, our miniature pony visits. It depends on the grass and time of year.
