Down the hall are two bedrooms; one with a queen bed, a nightstand and a spacious closet with a remote control for air conditioning or heating. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, nightstand, with an optional playpen, games, toys and children’s books in the closet. At the end of the hall is the stacked washer and dryer. To the left is a 4 piece bathroom. This is a bright fresh and cozy space that all will feel welcome in! Guest access Private access is at the back of the house via the back alley to the entrance down the concrete stairs to the basement entry. Other things to note We have added extra soundproofing insulation and a double drywall ceiling to help minimize noise between floors. As we live upstairs with our two young children, you may occasionally hear everyday family sounds, but we do our best to keep the home quiet and comfortable for our guests. This is a fully legal and licensed basement suite. Being below ground, it naturally stays cooler year-round, providing a comfortable retreat during the summer months. The queen bedroom is equipped with a heat pump for both air conditioning and heating. In winter, the home's central heating is typically set to 22°C (72°F), and the cozy gas fireplace can quickly warm the suite if you'd like extra heat.
