The space The lakeside lawned gardens are great for lounging, sitting around in the evening enjoying the sunsets and the starlit nights. A wooden deck leans over the lake that is mostly pebbles but can recede to reveal a sandy beach if the Lake couchiching water level falls. The water is shallow for quite a long way out. Nearby provincial parks at offer great hiking trails and opportunities for bird watching. In winter the the Forest has groomed cross country ski trails. The area is home to some of Ontario’s biggest wood working and hand crafts so you might find some antique craftsmanship that you will fall in love with. Winter is also a home to one of Ontario's famous lakes for ice fishing. The easy and relatively short drive from Toronto makes this is a perfect spot for a short breaks as well as for longer vacations and we think it will become a very popular location. Guest access The cottage is all on one level with the front door opening into an entrance hall that has a bedroom off either sides. The lakefront elevation has the high ceiling living room , dining room and kitchen all in one open space. A wood paneled ceiling living room at the end of the cottage is beautifully furnished with high end furnitures. The well-equipped kitchen has everything the cottage cook will need to cater for the family while still staying in touch with what’s going on and a four piece bathroom and laundry facilities round out this neat accommodation.
