Our cottage is located close to the Bavarian National Forest and invites you to either hang out in our backyard at the bonfire, host a nice dinner on the southfacing patio or explore the National Park and it’s surroundings. While our place is very peaceful and quiet, you are only a short drive away from grocery stores, restaurants and cafés. Want some more fun? Geißkopf Ski- & MTB Park and Rusel golfing is a 15‘ drive away, the kayak launch just 5‘. It offers about 110 m² of living space for 8 people – ideal for families, friends and small groups. The open and spacious dining room is equipped with a fireplace. Right next to it is the modern kitchen (induction stove, toaster, microwave, kettle). In the gallery there is a large couch with TV for the perfect movie night as a family. The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger and relax. All rooms have exposed beams, which gives the house its special touch. The large veranda with bench set offers direct garden access and enough space to enjoy the sun. Internet access via Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. A washing machine is also available if you need to wash something. Dogs are allowed and welcome - just please not in the beds/on seats. As a responsible dog owner, remove the leftovers and vacuum thoroughly if your dog sheds a lot of hair. Bed linen is not included in the booking price. Bedroom: fitted sheets 180 x 200 cm, rest of the rooms single beds. All blankets and pillows everywhere also single size (135 cm) sofa bed fitted sheets: 160 x 180 cm. When using our private linens, appropriate cleaning fees will be due. This is only possible in prior consultation with us in order to offer all guests the same service. ATTENTION: Access to the house is not permitted. Please park only in the parking lots or along the street. Cleaning: So far we had not asked for a cleaning fee, but unfortunately we have had bad experiences with it. In order to have a good standard for all guests, we have now hired a cleaning staff, the fee is €90 per stay. The house must be left swept clean. Please: - Turn on the dishwasher - Put everything back in its original place - Close the windows - Put garbage in the bins - Remove dog waste - Remove cigarette butts (these generally belong in the ashtray/bin not in the garden!) - Empty fireplace Should excessive cleaning with an increased number of hours by our cleaning staff be necessary, we will have to charge a surcharge of €100 due to the short-term nature. Unfortunately, due to negative experiences, we have no other option. This is not a commercial rental. We rent our private vacation home, which we also use ourselves. We have put a lot of love into it and would like it to be treated that way. In addition to the booking price, we charge the usual local visitor's tax, with which you can enjoy some benefits. Electricity costs are also extra if they are above the average consumption (10 kWh per day). Upon arrival and departure, we will take photos of the electricity meter as proof. Information about the visitor's tax: Tourist tax from 03/01/2019 The fee is per day of stay: 1. for individuals €1.80 2. for families for the first person €1.80 for the second person €1.80 for the third and each additional person €1.00 3. Only the spouses and the economically dependent children belong to a family. Children up to the age of six are free of the visitor's tax; from the seventh to the sixteenth year of age, they pay the rates of the third person of a family. The compost is in the garden to the right of the garden shed. At the former reception (entrance to the forest holiday village) there are the glass containers, please dispose of bottles there. For garbage left behind (glass/plastic) that we have to dispose of for you, we charge a fee of €30.
