Welcome to Lakeside Park Cottages, where your perfect getaway awaits! Located in the heart of Kawartha Lakes, in the charming town of Coboconk. A beautiful area and small-town atmosphere, making it the perfect destination for a tranquil getaway. Immerse yourself in nature and take advantage of the shared resort amenities, including a spacious lake area, canoes, kayaks & more! The space We’d like to kindly note that this cottage is part of a shared resort-style property, so you’ll find other cottages nearby. The area now has fewer trees than shown in some older photos, offering a clearer view of the lake. While the cottage isn’t directly on the waterfront, you’ll have easy access to the shared lake and beach area, located just across from Cottage #6. To respect the privacy of others, we ask that you use the designated stair entrance instead of walking directly in front of other cottages. Guest access To make the most of your time outdoors, we kindly remind guests to bring their own sports equipment for use with the resort’s recreational spaces. For water activities, enjoy unlimited access to kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats, a water trampoline, perfect for exploring the lake at your own pace. Life jackets are provided for your safety. To help you plan your stay, be sure to check out the guestbook inside the cottage. It includes helpful recommendations for nearby activities, local restaurants, grocery stores, laundromats, and more. Other things to note Lakeside Park Cottages – Guest Guidelines To ensure a smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable experience for all our guests, we kindly ask that you review and follow the guidelines below: ⸻ Check-In & Check-Out Check-In: 4:00 PM Check-Out: 10:00 AM • For 1-night bookings, early check-in or late check-out is not available • For longer stays, we may offer flexibility depending on availability ($50/hour fee) → Please contact us in advance if you’d like to request this service • Cleaners are scheduled, so we kindly ask guests not to request last-minute late checkouts ⸻ Parking • Parking is available for up to 2–3 vehicles per cottage • Additional parking may be available for a fee, please inquire ahead of time • Be mindful of space and avoid blocking shared paths or other cottages ⸻ Kayaks & Lake Access • Each cottage includes access to 2 kayaks to ensure fair use • The lake is safe for swimming, with sandy, shallow entry • Life jackets are provided for your safety ⸻ Noise & Music • To maintain a peaceful environment, please keep noise and music to a minimum after 10:00 PM • This helps ensure all guests can enjoy a restful night ⸻ Sleeping Arrangements • cottage comfortably sleeps 8 guests • A maximum of 9 guests is allowed, the 9th guest must bring their own sleeping setup (e.g. air mattress or sleeping bag) ⸻ Cooking Supplies • Cooking oil is not provided, please bring your own if needed for meals ⸻ Drinking Water & Ice • The tap water is not potable → Please bring your own bottled water or refillable containers for drinking and cooking • Ice is not provided, we recommend bringing a supply for your coolers or beverages ⸻ Towels • We provide a few hand towels, but guests must bring their own body/bath towels for showering and other personal use ⸻ Pets We warmly welcome well-behaved, house-trained pets for a small pet fee • This helps us maintain a clean and allergen-free environment for future guests • Pets must remain within your designated cottage area or be kept on a leash when walking the grounds • You are responsible for any pet-related damage, which may incur extra cleaning or repair charges • Please be considerate of other guests and clean up after your pet at all times ⸻ [Disclaimer & Liability Waiver Use of any water equipment (kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, etc.), swings, fire pit, beach, or any other on-site or water activities is at your own risk. While we maintain a high standard of cleanliness and take preventative measures, occasional encounters with small outdoor critters can happen, this is part of true cottage life in nature.
