Casa Sul Mar - Paradise over the sea

With an unmatched view over the ocean and surrounded by luxurious Mediterranean vegetation Casa Sul Mar is the best spot in the Lisbon/Setúbal coast to spend your holidays year round or simply get away for a relaxing week end. The space Casa Sul Mar was built for my grand mother in 1950 by the famous protuguese designer Eduardo Anahory. The house has always been used as a family holiday and week end hide out, being rented at times when we spent holidays elsewhere. My grand mother passed away in 2010, and I inherited the house from my mother and started a complete renovation maintaining the full original traits of the house but giving it all the confort and amnities of a modern house. The house has 4 bedrooms (one room with a double bed, one with two single beds, one with one single bed and a single loft, and one last room with a children bunk bed). The house has a swiming pool in the garden which is shared. Today you can be at Casa Sul Mar as confortable during the hot Arrábida summer as well as during the winter time. The house coupled with the mystic environment of Serra da Arrábida with its unique ocean view and luxuriant vegetation, make this spot my favorite place in the world. Guest access Casa Sul Mar is situated 50 minutes by car from the Lisbon airport via the Vasc da Gama bridge and identically from downtown Lisbon via the Ponte 25 de Abril. The house seats on top of the small beach praia de Alportuche, the best snorkelling spot in Portugal and only 15 minutes walking distance from Portinho da Arrábida beach one of the 7 natural wonders of Portugal. The little village of Azeitão and the small city of Setúbal are only 10 minutes away by car in opposite directions and offer unlimited local experiences ranging from inumerous small wineries, open markets, unique fish restaurantes, castles and many more attractions that will fulfill your days at the beach and make your holidays stay a long lasting experience. Other things to note Has the house is located at the hear of the natural park of Arrábida with few house around and no comerce except a couple of restaurants in Portinho (15 minutes walk), a car is an absolute need to get around.
