At low tide, miles of red sand bars are exposed, that are warmed by the sun, perfect for walking, building sand castles, beach combing, clam digging, or swimming. The space This is a perfect place for a family vacation. The cottage is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms, one with a Queen bed for a couple and the other with bunk beds and another bed that would sleep at least 3 kids. The Kitchen has modern appliances including a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. It has a heat pump for main heating and air conditioning if it's exceptionally cool or warm mid summer and baseboard heating for extra heat if needed in the early and later seasons. There is a large deck with a bbq and a picnic table and a front lawn with a tire rim for camp fires and the beach is just a short walk down the lane. There are also laundry appliances. Other things to note When you get off the Confederation Bridge turn left at the lights near the esso onto Dickie Road. It is a short road and it ends. Turn Left onto route 10. Follow route 10 for a few miles until you come to an intersection with a flashing red light. Turn Left onto route 112. The street sign says Searletown Road. Follow route 112 until you see a sign saying Fernwood road on your left, that’s route 119 follow it and keep right at a fork in the road to go to Fernwood. Follow along a few more miles until you see a sign on the left for sunset beach. Turn left onto sunset beach lane and then just a short way and left again onto murphy drive.
