Looking for a getaway - The Loft is tops! Perfect location, walking distance to multiple cellar doors, cross the road to Ulster Park, The Little Birds and Joyful Bunch, The Rising Sun with an IGA a short walk away. The Loft (accessible via staircase) is a two bedroom apartment; main double bedroom (sleeps 2) has a slow combustion heater, reverse cycle AC, sofa & TV, cosy twin bed room, large eat in kitchen, bathroom with large bath & shower, onsite parking. Heaters & electric blankets! The space The Loft is a heritage property, light and bright located centrally within Auburn. The Loft consists of two bedrooms; one twin room and one queen which also acts as the living area, slow combustion wood fire, sofa and television. There is a large sunny family bathroom with full bath, overhead shower and toilet. The kitchen is large eat-in with dining table for four (extra chairs for guests available) and all modern amenities. The Loft is accessed by an internal staircase with a secure stair gate for guests with children. Please note the building is heritage and therefore the stairs are steeper than in modern buildings. BOOKING POLICY: Our standard charge assumes one or two people using the Queen bed in the main bedroom. Should two guests only, require two separate beds, or three or more guests require single beds, an additional cost of $50 per single bed per night will apply to cover linen and additional cleaning costs. Other things to note There is a fantastic public park 'Auburn Centenary Park' behind the property accessed from either Church Street or King Street. The park has a large childrens play area with play equipment, covered barbecue area and large grass area for games. There are public toilets at the park cleaned daily. There is a collapsable outdoor table and two chairs behind the front door for use if required outside! Bikes can be hired from Riesling Trail Bike Hire for exploring the area or one of the famous trails; Riesling, Rattler, Mawson or Riverton. Ulster Park (diagonally across the road) serve pizza Friday through Sunday, Velvet & Willow are great for coffee and breakfast. The Rising Sun is a favourite for pub meals. The Clare Valley Wine, Food & Tourism Centre is fabulous for information, local produce and coffees. The Little Red Grape Co. is a fantastic bakery at Seven Hill, The Watervale General Store serves delicatessen style food and The Watervale Hotel has a fabulous menu. Clare has a great range of options along with local wineries.
