Midtown Creepy Cottage

Welcome and thank you for considering the Midtown Creepy Cottage for your stay in Coeur d’Alene. This is not just a vacation rental or an Airbnb to me, it is my actual home. My blood sweat and fears went into every stitch and scar as I renovated this space to curate my own little macabre den of dark curiosities and I am so delighted to get to share it with you. The space This unique and fully renovated 1920’s bungalow features 600 square feet of living space with everything you need for that gruesome getaway that you've been craving. The entire house is disturbingly decorated to tantalize the darkest of imaginations. The living room comes fitted with a flatscreen TV and DVD player and access to my eclectic collection of horror DVDs for your viewing pleasure. The kitchen is fully equipped with full sized appliances and stocked with dishes and basic cookware for your culinary/dining needs. Bone saws are not intended for kitchen use. The bedroom highlights a queen-sized bed with a comfortable organic cotton foam mattress that is guaranteed to make you sleep like a corpse. The unique office nook is sure to inspire creativity that could bring Edgar Allen Poe back from the grave and of course wifi access is available for your work away from home needs. The cozy bathroom reflects a Victorian era hotel, with a fully tiled walk-in shower, and ornate decor, but you need not fear a visit from Norman Bates. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large laundry/mudroom where you can securely store your gear without fear of the local grave robbers rummaging about. The front porch is a demon free space where you can plan your next seance or just chill with your favorite beverage and a book. This space is literally to die for! I hope you find humor and enjoyment in my odd collections and the creepy decor. I do have ethically sourced taxidermy, wet specimens, horror art and other adult themed art throughout my home, if you find such things offensive or off putting this might not be a comfortable place for you to stay, it is also why it is not appropriate for minors or children of any age (there will be no exceptions). Guest access Coeur d’ Alene is a small town located off of I-90 just 30 minutes east of Spokane (approximately 45min from the Spokane International Airport), and 1 hour west of the Montana border. The area is known for being a vacation getaway with outdoor activities year round. Midtown creepy cottage is centrally located on a quiet residential street just 1.5 miles north of Lake Coeur d’Alene and downtown. It is easily accessed from the 4th street exit off of I-90. Guest will have access to the entire house. Free off street parking is available and instructions for keyless entry will be provided to guests 24hrs prior to reservation start date. Check-in is available after 3:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am unless other times have been pre-arranged. Other things to note This cottage is very small and is limited to a two guest maximum. The space is not suitable for pets, additional overnight guests or parties. Please note that the bathroom and bedroom are both quite narrow and may not be comfortable or even accommodating for those of larger stature or for those who may have mobility issues.
