If you need to explore the rest of Lesvos island, then you have to rent a car. There are buses to Mytilene but they are limited to a few routes per day and mainly during the morning, while there are also taxis available however they can be very pricy. Access to the apartment requires the use of stairs. Unfortunately it is not accessible to the disabled or to elderly people with mobility issues.
