A beautiful and peaceful Cabin hidden in the Historical Sugar Pine Logging Camp in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Cabin is 8 miles away from Yosemite National Park South Entrance, 8 miles to the beautiful Bass Lake and 2 miles from Lewis Creek Trail South Trailhead (Parking Lot) and only over a 100 feet away from the Lewis Creek North Trailhead Entrance. Red Rock Falls is also over a mile hike from the Cabin. If you’re in need of a kitchen you can always book the upstairs part of the cabin. The space This is a cozy and spacious downstairs bedroom with a nice comfortable Queen Bed, Smart TV and your own restroom. This downstairs bedroom does not have a kitchen or sink only a kitchenette which equipped with Refrigerator, Microwave, Electric Kettle, Keurig Coffee Maker and condiments. This bedroom also has a heater, a stand fan and a vintage radio all ready to use. Smoking can be allowed Outside Only. This downstairs bedroom has large deck, a new addition that is yours exclusively and will enhance your outdoor experience, from the deck you can hear the cool rushing waters of Lewis Creek making its way down the mountain, watch the busy little Steller’s Jays, squirrels and hummingbirds as they go about their daily routines. You may even spot an occasional bear. You can also hear the Steam powered “ Logger” train of the Madera Sugar Pine Logging Company as it embarks on its hourly tours through the beautiful timbered mountain side. If you are up for a hike, the Lewis Creek hiking trail is walking distance from the cabin. You can also book the upstairs level with a full kitchen. Once parked you can take the stairway down past the upper living space to access the downstairs living space at 49988 B. It is a good neighbor practice to fold your drivers side mirror in if possible due to the narrow road access. The key is in the lockbox right at the little red door! During your stay Guests can communicate via cell phone or by txt in the Airbnb web site to address any questions or concerns and we are happy to help with any questions or concerns you may have. Other things to note There is a private pond in the local area that belongs to the Sugar Pine Christian Camp… you are welcome to walk the area around the ponds and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the area but pond access is for the guests at the camp. Adjacent to the Fire House there is a bridge at Lewis Creek, the creek is frequently planted with trout and you are welcome to use the fishing poles on the wall and the tackle box outside of the cabin lower front door providing you buy a daily rate fishing license so you don’t catch a fine by the local Fish and Game Warden. Fishing Licenses can be purchased at the Big 5 Sporting Goods store in Oakhurst or any other place that may sell them. If this listing is too small maybe the upper level would be more suitable.
