This is our lovely African safari themed glamping log cabin, at Cheeky Chicken Cottage Animal Sanctuary, Huby near York. Perfect for romantic couples, (posh glamping at its best! ) A lovely African authentic style, open plan with a king sized four poster bed plus double sofa bed, central heating, rustic kitchen, all bedding towels included. Set within our private animal sanctuary farm and lovely lawned gardens. Your private toilet and shower is two steps outside the door. The space Don’t pay silly York hotel prices! An Uber is just £10 and the bus is just £2. You will be in York in just 22 minutes with no hassles looking for and paying for parking. A very large open plan detached building consisting of a luxurious king size four poster bed as well as a double sofa bed. All bedding plus towels are included. We have an open plan rustic style kitchen including oven/grill, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Dining table with 4 chairs, contemporary sofa, Centrally heated for your comfort. You will have your own private outdoor areas through two seperate French doors, leading to your own furniture, and then outdoors on the Animal Sanctuary farm. (Visits under supervision) We are a rural farming country village thus wifi can be intermittent Guests will have exclusive use of their own private shower and toilet bordering the cabin.. For your use you will have various seating areas within our 2 acre animal sanctuary property. A fire pit is a popular social area shared with other like minded campers. Guest access We have one car parking spot available which is off road, right next to the cabin, which is secure and with easy access. Other things to note This is a unique holiday/short break stay over, on our farm, situated 7miles from York in the village of Huby. It is set within our animal sanctuary grounds where you’ll be surrounded by Rescued animals include our free ranging chickens, donkeys, pygmy goats, horses, sheep, ducks, quails, tortoises, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, etc. Come and relax, unwind and enjoy. We are a rural farming country village therefore wifi can be intermittent Farm visits under supervision. Although in the lovely quiet farming village of Huby, we are only minutes walk away from our excellent Cantonese Restaurant/take away, bus stop into York, village shop, play park, traditional country village pub, chippy, ice cream parlour, lovely rural off road walks etc. For larger family/friendship groups, please enquire about our other holiday accommodations on site? Very close, you may drive to beaches, the nearest beach, 1 hour away. Local swimming lakes for Kayaking and paddle boarding etc. Indoor swimming pools close by. Lovely market towns, Helmsley, Easingwold, Harrogate, York, Knaresborough, Ripon, Thirsk, Whitby, plus the North Yorkshire Moors etc.
