Hello! This is a unit in a quiet residential neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley near restaurants, shopping centers, public transportation & other LA attractions. It has its own private entrance, colorful patio with a meditation/yoga corner, recently remodeled bathroom, free parking, & kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, etc.) Queen bed for 2 people, free WiFi, TV with Amazon Fire Stick, & window with view of the front yard. The room is part of the house but completely private. This is the largest room in the house and completely private, so you don't have to share the space with anyone. You get your own separate entrance and patio with a meditation/yoga area. The recently remodeled private bathroom in the unit has a shower, extra towels, soap, a first aid kit, and shampoo/conditioner bottles. There is a large closet and plenty of shelves for you to store your items. In this closet you'll also find the fire extinguisher and a portable heater in case you want extra warmth during the winter days. There is also a ceiling fan that you can turn on when it gets really hot. (The Valley is known for its high temperatures- especially in the summer months.) There is free parking on the street, but you're welcome to park your car in our driveway and we'll let you know which spot you can use. The unit includes a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, toaster, microwave, water kettle, and some breakfast items like coffee and fruits. This kitchenette is ideal for quick meals. There are also plenty of restaurants in the area and we're always happy to give recommendations. (Check the chalkboard at the entrance for a list of some local places.) No laundry in the unit, but there are coin laundromats nearby. The unit has a smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector. The entire unit (room, bathroom, patio) is yours. You'll have access to our WiFi and Amazon Fire Stick connected to the TV that has streaming apps like YouTube, Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, etc. However, you will have to log in to your own accounts if you want to use these apps. Make sure to log out of any app that you log into before you check out. Since your room is completely private but still part of the house, you won't see me or my family but you might hear us. We keep our noise levels down whenever there are guests. If you need anything, please message me or knock at the main door. This neighborhood is quiet and near shops, restaurants, theaters, parks, CSUN (California State University Northridge), and other attractions. There are many buses and trains to help you explore the city, although Uber and Lyft are more convenient and faster. The San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles is the home of several important movie studios like Universal and Warner Bros. and they offer tours. We are also very close to In-N-Out, the classic California burger restaurant. There is free parking on the street or in our driveway. Uber, Lyft, and public transportation like the Los Angeles Metro buses and trains are available and convenient in case you don't have a car. There are also some restaurants and shops nearby that you can walk to. Bed sheets are replaced every 7 days. You can give us the used bed sheets and we will give you the new set. Please notify us immediately if there is any issue with the unit, such as a leak or clogged toilet.
