Casita Juliet is a one bedroom (Queen) little home with a well equipped kitchen, separate eating area, large living room ( couch could sleep one additional guest or child comfortably). It is decorated in my style of antiques, art and whimsy. Folks just seem to love my 'Melissiana' style and it's so much fun for me! Casita Juliet has all new appliances, dishes and kitchenware, towels and bedding in a charming intimate yet roomy little house. Hair dryer and cozy robes are provided. Casita Juliet has two outdoor living areas and of course a ridiculous number of plants--a signature of mine. Big trees and lots of garden spaces make Juliet a cool oasis in the summer. Although there are two homes on this property, both have a feeling of privacy with separate off street parking, garden and outdoor living spaces. Casita Juliet can also be combined with the main house 'Casa Madre' as a family compound for a larger group of up to 12. Check with me on cost of renting both together. The property is pet friendly. I provide dog sheets for bed and furniture and a box outside of Mutt Mitts for clean up. There is a fenced area in front the casita-an area enjoyed by both two and four legged guests. There really is not much public transportation in Taos although a shuttle runs from downtown to Taos Ski Valley in winter months.
