J2 Camden is the premier location in Mid-Coast Maine and Free Street is a quiet side street with a quick walk into town. The Free Street home is an old, classically decorated 1847 farmhouse that is a charming, updated New England-style home. An updated kitchen was added to the property not long ago and is well-equipped for a fabulous meal. The main level kitchen as well as a living room, dining room, sitting room give you room to spread out and enjoy many activities while also feeling together. In older homes, traditionally there was a front and back stairway. Above the kitchen is a King Master with ensuite full bathroom with a stall shower with laundry and a living room area with a desk set up. Up the front staircase from the living room are two other bedrooms; both with a queen bedroom. These two bedrooms share a hall full bathroom with a tub only, toilet and sink. This is a new home to the owners and they are currently doing many updates, including mostly new furnishings, a Smart TV and updated hall bathroom upstairs. Free Street is just a few blocks from Camden Harbor with its shopping, restaurants, schooners, and harbor park to explore. Camden Hills State park and Mt. Battie are close by, as well as, public park access on Megunticook Lake.
