SEASHORE COTTAGE - self-catering: amazing location

Seashore Cottage is located right beside the sea with a private lawn in front that leads straight to the waters edge. Originally a croft cottage it has been completely renovated. Seashore is located on our 14 acre private site in Strathan, 1 mile from Lochinver. In the bay you will find true peace and quiet, be able to explore our tidal island, streams, 3 pebble beaches and see amazing sunsets & stars, plus lots of wildlife including deer, otter, pine martin, sea birds and occasional dolphins. The space Seashore Cottage has an open-plan fully fitted kitchen with pine table and chairs, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier, electric oven/hob and microwave / sitting room with corner sofa, LED 32" TV/DVD combi, CD Hi-Fi and docking speaker, vaulted ceiling, wood burning stove, double French doors to lawn and patio area with picnic table. Bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. Double bedroom with en suite walk-in shower and twin bedroom, door leading out to the garden. We do request that our guests refrain from smoking & vaping in the cottage. Sorry No Pets. An on site Drying Room for outdoor clothing with Bicycle and Fishing Rod storage facility. Oil central heating. Free Wi-Fi. Comfortably sleeps maximum 4 adults. Rate includes your linens and 2 towels per person. Please note logs are not provided but can be purchased from the local spar shop or garage. All our of properties are thoroughly cleaned and equipped to a high standard. Guest access For the duration of your stay the whole cottage is yours. You will need to call at our house in the village to collect the cottage key between 4 - 6 pm (later arrival can be accommodated by prior arrangement) and sign our booking form / conditions of hire. Details of our contact information and directions to our residence from Inverness will be sent to you after booking. Other things to note Seashore Cottage is part of Lochinver Holiday Lodges & Cottages a long established family run self-catering business which I co-own with my husband Andrew Stewart. The cottage is set up for self-catering rather than B&B guests - we provide all bed linens, 2 towels per person, 2 tea towels, oven gloves, washing-up sponge & cloth, floor cloth, hand soap, an extra black bin bag, washing-up liquid and some dishwasher tablets. There will be a welcome tea tray ready for your arrival with a cafetiere & ground coffee, tea bags, sugar, UHT milk and shortbread. Our properties are well equipped and furnished. The rate includes free wi-fi and fuel charges. Please note we do not provide logs for the wood burning stove but they can be purchased from the village shop or petrol station. We live a mile away in Lochinver village and can be easily contacted by phone, email or in person back at our residence. Seashore has great reviews on Trip Advisor under our Lochinver Holiday Lodges listing. We have many long standing returning visitors who come stay annually and sometimes even two or three times a year ! The location is amazing, so close to the waters edge at Strathan Bay where we have a 14 acre private site. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to see our resident dog otter whose territory includes the bay in front of Seashore.
