Perched on a hillside but level circular driveway with no steps to climb. Perfect place for Vacationers or Honeymooners. Home is within walking distance from the community fishing pond or 12 minutes from action packed Pigeon Forge, and the Island. Convenient to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and the GSM which is home to numerous hiking trails, waterfalls, and the must see Cades Cove. After enjoying a day exploring the area, spend a restful evening in front of one of the two fireplaces or a soak in our hot tub. Roast marshmallows over the outdoor firepit, grill out on the charcoal grill. Enjoy the rockers on the front porch or relax to the back porch with outdoor dining table, swing and chairs to sit and reminisce about the days events. If you have never seen Cataloochee it is well worth the day trip to see the settlement and the wildlife. Elk roam freely in the valley and hundreds of turkeys out in the field takes you back in time to the way things use to be. guests have access to entire house and yard. We (the owners) live approx. 40 minutes from Autumn Leaf Cabin. In the event you would need us for anything we are just a phone call away. Hidden Mountain West is located just minutes from Pigeon Forge but in a very secluded setting away from the hustle and bustle. The cabin is located on a quiet dead end street with little to no traffic. Where you can take the kids fishing at the pond just up the street. The area our cabin is located in is on a small mountain with all paved road with street signs. The best driving tip is to use your google map as it takes you to the front door. If you don't use google maps we do have the name of the cabin posted with an arrow directing you down the road to the cabin. If you are not familiar with Pigeon Forge area just remember Wears Valley Road leads you in the direction of the cabin and is located at traffic light #3. PLEASE NOTE in the RARE event of snow or icing, that 4 wheel drive or snow chains are recommended on most secondary roads in mountainous communities.
