The space Units at Heidelberg Inn resort are self-sufficent, and provide flat screen TVs, a kitchenette, and a refrigerator, and getting online is easy, with free wifi available. 2 bedroom units have a queen bed in the master bedroom, full in the second bedroom and typically a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. 1 bedroom units have a queen bed in the bedroom, and typically a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The Kitchenette/ Mini-kitchen does not have a conventional oven, but some units feature a microwave with convection oven combo. There are 2 burners and a dishwasher in the unit. Other things to note The Heidelberg Inn was first opened in 1928 as a hotel with 46 rooms with bathrooms down the hall. Now we have twenty-four condo type units with one or two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living/dining room and a bathroom. This location became a place to go for some of the most famous movie stars. Clark Gable, Betty Grable and Charlie Chaplan were noted visitors in the wintertime. Pictures of these “old days” are seen in the lobby. Also, you will see the famous four-sided stone fireplace with the signature 8 foot California Grizzly Bear standing on top IN THE COMMON AREA, fireplace is not in individual units.
