Other things to note *QR CODE: I will provide you with a QR Code to be able to get in/out of Playacar as my guests. (✔️If you have a rental car, as soon as you have the license plate, send it to me so I can add the license plate to the QR code) ⚠️The maximum check in time is 9:00 pm. 👉🏼If you don't have a rental car, since it’s self-check in, you can check in later, just make sure you have the check-in instructions with you. 🚗If you rent a car, after 8:00 pm we can no longer generate QR codes with the license plate, and we absolutely need the license plate. Otherwise, you won't be allowed to access Playacar without it. Check the maximum check-in time in the listing. *BICYCLES: The bicycles are for recreational purposes: to be used and to enjoy INSIDE the area of PLAYACAR. The bikes must be under surveillance and with their lock when you´re not using them. It is strictly FORBIDDEN to take the bikes out of Playacar. (Even if you leave them locked for 2 mins and in plain sight, they get stolen in 30 seconds). Playacar is safe and a very relaxed neighborhood and it has very nice hotels as well as a golf course and varied stores and restaurants. You will love the area. Outside playacar you find the 5th Avenue and the ferry to Cozumel. Please consider that the distances walking to te center are far. So using the bikes is awesome for some days and for 1 or 2 days you maybe want to take a taxi, Playacar is huge because of the golf course. You will arrive to the 5th in 3 minutes by taxi. We don’t have uber yet in Playa del Carmen. Let’s hope we do soon! :-) *IF YOU DONT HAVE A RENTAL CAR: and you don’t want to spend in private transportation like taxis, walk towards the entrance of the highway (10 min walk) and take a “van” in the van stop right in front of Hospiten Hospital. This van goes in direction to Cancun or Tulum. If you want to go in direction to Tulum just cross the highway (it’s safe to cross) and take the van in the van stop right in front of “Centro Maya” mall in the parking lot next to Starbucks. Vans can take you to parks, cenotes, Tulum or Cancun for less than 3 USD or $ 60 mexican pesos per person.
