Ideal for a stay with family, friends, as a couple, or for a few days of quiet remote working, the house welcomes you to a genuine historic hamlet, surrounded by old buildings, nature and a hectare of land with free access. The accommodation: The farmhouse features 3 comfortable bedrooms, a cosy living room with a piano available for use, a fully equipped kitchen and a wood-burning stove to enjoy a cosy atmosphere all year round. Stone walls, natural materials, an authentic atmosphere: here, everything invites you to rest, unwind, read, listen to music, write or simply spend time together. A rare setting steeped in history: The property forms part of a complex of buildings typical of the Limousin region. It includes a manor house occupied by the hosts, a former bakery, a large stone barn, and a granite well topped with a Templar cross. A unique, peaceful and characterful place, in the heart of an area designated as a Regional Nature Park. Nature, tranquillity and wide open spaces: Surrounding the house, enjoy around 1 hectare of land: meadows, trees, silence, fresh air and a starry sky free from light pollution. It’s the perfect spot for a weekend in the countryside, a creative retreat, a break to unwind, a simple family holiday or a few days away from the daily grind. To make the most of your stay, a wellness area can be booked for private use: Sauna, wood-fired Nordic bath and outdoor fire pit. Price: €80 for 2 hours. Other things to note We live on site, in the manor house on the estate. Franck is an osteopath and I am an anthropologist and systemic constellation facilitator. We are available should you need us during your stay, whilst ensuring your peace and quiet is maintained. Two very gentle dogs also roam freely on the estate: Naos, a female Australian Shepherd, and Luidgi, a male Whippet. They are used to visitors and contribute to the peaceful atmosphere of the place. The gîte is run with an eco-friendly approach. A water filtration system and sparkling water are provided to reduce the use of disposable plastic bottles.
