Quiet and family-oriented section of Brooklyn, with abundant street parking, just minutes to Brooklyn destinations (BAM, Barclays, Williamsburg, Metropolitan Ave...) and Manhattan (the MET, MOMA, Whitney, the meat-packing district, fashion district...). The space The garden apartment is the first floor of my 3-floor house in Brooklyn. The apartment is for the exclusive use by guests and has a private gate entrance. The apartment itself is newly renovated and has an open floor plan with a brand new fully equipped kitchen, new full bathroom (with shower), recessed lighting throughout, access to the laundry room with washer and dryer, queen bed, air mattress if needed, couch, banquette for reading by the bay window, and comfy chair. The stone kitchen counter has a unique design with a bulbous bump out at one end so it doubles as a kitchen table, with 3 west elm stools for small group meals. Please note: the apartment ceiling and doorways are low. Tall folks may not find the apartment comfortable. The ceiling is 78 inches high (6 feet, 6 inches), but there is a utility bump down that runs the length of the apartment and is 70 inches tall (5 feet, 10 inches). I'm 5 foot 9 inches and I move around the apartment very comfortably. Guest access Guests access the apartment through the private gate entrance on the ground floor of the building. The open floor plan of the apartment includes a sitting area, a sleeping area, a kitchen area, full bath with shower and access to a laundry room with washer and dryer. Guests will have access at the back to the garden where there are several chairs, potted plants, a fire pit, charcoal grill, and a table with umbrella and chairs beneath 2 large maple trees for al fresco dining.
