The space The three rooms of our space are inspired by the historic heart of the city, each with a meaningful name: - **Trotula**: dedicated to Trotula De Ruggiero, the first Italian female physician of the 11th century, who worked at the Salerno School of Medicine. - **Gelbison**: Takes its name from the sacred mountain of the Subappennines, the fourth-highest mountain in Cilento, in the province of Salerno, and has Arabic origins. - **Trofimena**: named in honor of the saint to whom the Longobard-era church at Porta Catena in Salerno was dedicated, where her relics were transferred in the 9th century. These rooms offer a unique experience, enriched by local history and culture, and are accompanied by a full range of included amenities to ensure maximum comfort and satisfaction during your stay. Guest access The Santi e Saraceni is located in the historic center of Salerno, just outside the traffic-restricted zone (ZTL). You can park on the street, in the blue-striped areas, for €1 per hour, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (free overnight, on Sundays, and on public holidays). Alternatively, for private parking, we recommend the Squitieri Garage, the Barra Garage, or the Duomo Garage, all of which are very close to the property. The city's main attractions are all within easy walking distance of the property, including the main street and the waterfront. Other things to note Santi e Saraceni is the ideal solution for getting to know and visiting the historic center of Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. Located on Largo Plebiscito, the property overlooks the Diocesan Museum, an essential stop for visiting the temporary exhibitions and permanent collections of this important complex. In the same square, you will also find the Church of the Morticelli and the Church of Cristo Re. The property is also within walking distance of the Duomo and the city's main and most famous streets, which are perfect for strolling and visiting local shops and historic buildings. The property itself is located within a characteristic 19th-century building and consists of 3 large and bright bedrooms, all with a private en-suite bathroom. The interiors are furnished in a fusion of the tradition of Vietri-Salerno ceramics and a green style, creating a cozy and unique environment.
