Bright, mid century cottage in Ballarat

Bright and cosy weatherboard house near the centre of Ballarat and close to Sovereign Hill. Big garden with thriving veggie patch out the back! Fast WIFI! The space A lovely home with a warm and friendly mid-century feel. I usually live here, but will be away when you’re staying, so the whole house is yours to use! (Except mine and the kids’ bedrooms which are closed off). Comfy lounge, well set-up kitchen, bathroom and second toilet. Please note, the house has a ‘lived-in’ feel as it is not a dedicated Airbnb, but if homely is what you are after, I think you will love it! (but don't be surprised to find my stuff in the drawers and my pictures on the walls :) Your room is located at the front of the house. It is carpeted and furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and armchair. There is also a little desk and desk chair if you’re here for work/ study. The room has its own reverse cycle air conditioner so you’ll be able to adjust the temperature to suit whatever Ballarat happens to you throw at us that day! I can accommodate infants/ children up to about 1 in a porta cot in your room (charged as an extra person). There’s a new addition to my place! A gorgeous little ‘garden room’. Equipped with desk and desk chair as well as a couch. Can be used as an office or second living/ contemplation space. It is a beautiful, light-filled spot to sit and relax surrounded by the garden. Please make yourself at home. There will be cereal and/ or toast for breakfast and plenty of teas to choose from! Free, fast, wireless internet available! Guest access You’re very welcome to use the laundry and hang out in the big garden out the back. Please don’t use the two rooms with shut doors :) Thanks! Other things to note I love my house and I really hope you enjoy your stay. I keep the spaces neat and clean, but please don't expect hotel perfection! Welcome and enjoy :) One more thing: I have a dog, who won’t be around during your stay, but I can’t guarantee there won’t be any dog hair, so if you are allergic, this might not be the place for you!
